The RCAI Multi Podus® Orthosis with Transfer Attachment has a synthetic sheepskin liner with tan straps is also known as the "Original L'Nard Boot". This cost effective system replaces most other equipment used for bed positioning and functional lower extremity alignment

The MPO® floats the heel eliminates pressure or friction on the heel, enhancing blood circulation vital to healing. The dynamic flex action supplies continuous counterforce to the plantar surface of the foot assisting in the correction of foot drop, foot and ankle contractures and deformity.

The adjustable toe post relieves pressure on the toes and can be positioned to the side in the treatment of malleolus and lateral ulcers.

The rotator bar positioned to the side, controls Hip Orthoses and leg rotation, providing functional alignment.

The Transfer Attachment provided for most sizes is for stand-up transfer and prevents cross-contamination from floor to bed.

Bilateral Multi Podus® Systems with a spreader bar provides 35° of controlled Hip Orthoses abduction.

The Original Multi Podus® Orthosis is also available with the following modifications:

Multi Podus® Short Back 90° - This Short Back version has a short calf area and it does not have the rotator bar. This MPO® can be used for patients with severe knee contractures. Available in sizes small, medium, large & extra-large

Multi Podus® Modified 25 is pre molded at 25° plantar flexion. Dynamically treats foot and ankle contractures over 25°. It does not have a transfer attachment and is available in sizes medium & large.

The standard return window is 30 days unless otherwise published and the standard restocking fee is 30% unless otherwise published.

Products cannot be returned if they have been used, soiled, or if the packaging is destroyed. The product must be in new, resalable condition.

Please check merchandise when received and report any missing merchandise within 48 business hours. Failure to report shipping/packaging errors within 48 hours of product delivery will result in not being able to replace your missing goods. All returned products require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please confirm that your RA# is clearly marked on the outside of the box. Returned product boxes, absent an RA#, will be refused by the warehouse and returned to the sender.

If you decide you need to return an item that meets the criteria for return, we are happy to assist you through the return authorization process.

You are responsible for all return shipping costs except for when goods arrive damaged, in which case RCAI will file an insurance claim with the shipping provider (ex: FedEx). You will need to obtain a Return Authorization number from us. You will then need to ship your products back to a warehouse address that we have provided.

To receive your Return Authorization number, please send an e-mail to purch@rcai.com or give us a call at 727-573-1595. Be prepared to tell us:

A. Your Order Number (found in the email invoice confirmation)

B. Name of the Product and Quantity you would like to return.

We will honor your return so long as the date of your e-mail or call is within 10 days of the date of your purchase. Unless we sent you the wrong merchandise, you will be responsible for return shipping charges.

Avoid basing your size selection on your individual preferences or previous sizes from other brands, as this can lead to discrepancies.
