Common Causes of Shoulder Pain & Instability

• Rotator cuff tear (partial or full thickness) — most common in adults over 40
• Shoulder impingement syndrome (subacromial impingement)

• Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)
• AC joint (acromioclavicular) separation
