The new Lumbar Sacral Support with Side Panels by RCAI is indicated for chronic back pain, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic lumbar instability, herniated lumbar disc, compression fracture, and degenerative disc disease. The rigid, heat-moldable recycled thermoplastic back panel of the Lumbar Sacral Support extends to the T-9 vertebrae for effective stabilization and healing of the spine. Rigid side panels feature bendable metal stays to conform to the patient's anatomy and can be removed in the latter stages of the healing process. The strapping design of the LSO relieves load on lumbar intervertebral discs by lifting and holding the patient's anterior weight, improving posture and relieving pain.
