MPO Active®: Advanced Multi-Podus Orthosis for Healing, Mobility, and Comfort

Cutting-Edge Healing and Mobility Support

The RCAI MPO Active® with ambulatory Attachment is a revolutionary multi-podus orthosis (MPO) designed to accelerate healing, provide advanced mobility support, and deliver unparalleled comfort. Featuring innovative heel offloading, pressure relief, and dynamic limb alignment technology, this orthopedic device offers patients the best in therapeutic care. Its versatile design caters to both non-weight-bearing needs and assisted ambulation, ensuring a seamless transition from rest to recovery.

Why Choose the MPO Active®?

  • Heel Offloading Technology: Eliminates pressure and friction to prevent and heal heel ulcers or decubitus ulcers.
  • Customizable Fit: Adjustable toe post and optional side positioning reduce pressure on sensitive areas, including toes and lateral malleolus.
  • Dynamic Foot Drop Management: Provides continuous flexion support to correct foot and ankle positioning while avoiding contractures.
  • Ambulatory Attachment: Transforms easily into a mobility aid with a simple twist-and-lock mechanism for limited walking capabilities.
  • Therapeutic Limb Alignment: Integrated rotator bar ensures proper leg and hip alignment, minimizes joint strain, and supports natural limb positioning.
  • Durable and Lightweight Design: Built for long-term orthopedic care without compromising on comfort or convenience.

Perfect For:

The MPO Active® is ideal for individuals managing various lower extremity conditions, offering significant therapeutic benefits:

  • Heel Ulcers and Decubitus Ulcers: Alleviates pressure to accelerate healing and prevent further skin breakdown.
  • Foot Drop (Drop Foot): Corrects foot alignment, restores gait function, and prevents contractures.
  • Plantar Flexion Contractures & Deformities: Gently stretches the foot into proper alignment, reducing joint stiffness.
  • Lateral Malleolus Ulcers & Venous Insufficiency: Improves circulation and protects vulnerable areas for faster recovery.
  • Post-Surgical Lower Extremity Recovery: Ensures proper support and mobility after procedures, reducing complications.
  • Edema and Swelling Relief: Minimizes swelling from chronic venous insufficiency or other conditions.
  • Neuropathy and Skin Breakdown Prevention: Protects the skin for those with impaired mobility or prolonged immobility.
  • Orthopedic Rehabilitation Post-Injury: Aids in controlled gait training and long-term functional mobility.

Whether it’s addressing chronic conditions, recovery after surgery, or mobility challenges, the MPO Active® empowers patients to heal and move with confidence.

FAQs

The standard return window is 30 days unless otherwise published and the standard restocking fee is 30% unless otherwise published.

Products cannot be returned if they have been used, soiled, or if the packaging is destroyed. The product must be in new, resalable condition.

Please check merchandise when received and report any missing merchandise within 48 business hours. Failure to report shipping/packaging errors within 48 hours of product delivery will result in not being able to replace your missing goods. All returned products require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please confirm that your RA# is clearly marked on the outside of the box. Returned product boxes, absent an RA#, will be refused by the warehouse and returned to the sender.

If you decide you need to return an item that meets the criteria for return, we are happy to assist you through the return authorization process.

You are responsible for all return shipping costs except for when goods arrive damaged, in which case RCAI will file an insurance claim with the shipping provider (ex: FedEx). You will need to obtain a Return Authorization number from us. You will then need to ship your products back to a warehouse address that we have provided.

To receive your Return Authorization number, please send an e-mail to purch@rcai.com or give us a call at 727-573-1595. Be prepared to tell us:

A. Your Order Number (found in the email invoice confirmation)

B. Name of the Product and Quantity you would like to return.

We will honor your return so long as the date of your e-mail or call is within 10 days of the date of your purchase. Unless we sent you the wrong merchandise, you will be responsible for return shipping charges.

To ensure you get the most accurate sizing, please refer to our sizing chart and fill out your measurements accordingly. Avoid basing your size selection on your individual preferences or previous sizes from other brands, as this can lead to discrepancies. Our sizing chart is designed to provide the best fit for our products, and following it will help you find the perfect size.
